I've long been interested in the American Civil War, and wanted to focus on one of its most tragic, and consequential battles: Antietam. This book incorporates several non-traditional printing techniques, including transparencies, different paper stocks, foldout sections, and more, in retelling the story of this tragic day, the bloodiest day in American military history. I also designed an accompanying app that highlighted the history of photography at the battle.
