This poster was commissioned by Fanmingqi Zhang, a young director based in Baltimore, for his short film, Blue . Blue is the story of two young lovers separated by distance, and to convey its themes I wanted to work with something delicate, melancholy, and romantic. The handdrawn illustrations conveyed the authenticity of this quirky, offbeat film. I produced both the full film poster and this horizontal treatment, suitable for display on streaming platforms.
